Ok. So the reviews of this place seem to be of two varieties- older reviews that are stellar, and more recent that are terrible. This is unfortunately the latter. This business will be out of business before this time next year, I can almost guaranteed that. Went in August for custom motorcycle ear plugs. The doctor had a receptionist and did a fine job with me- was nice, and professional. I paid upfront for them (mistake) and they said they should arrive in 2 months. Since the riding season was going to wind down, I was in no real rush. However, things got weirder and weirder afterwards. Absolutely 0 contact from this place. I tried to call many, many times. He will never pick up the phone. I ended up having the odd weekday off and walked in, and you could tell this place was falling apart. No receptionist or anyone else working in the clinic besides the doctor. He claimed that my plugs were going to arrive in two weeks. I also asked for a personal number so I could reach someone live, in person instead of having to drive on an off. He gave me his personal email, and I emailed him immediately, and no response. Suspicious. Fast forward 2 more months. Called many times again. Nothing. 0 email response. Their website is not online anymore- account suspended. Do you know what that means? Failure to pay the bills to the hosting company. Very suspicious. So I went in again. Its mid December, and my product was promised October at the latest. Doctor looked like he was going to leave right when I got there, but I made sure to catch him before he went to lunch (or home for the day at noon). I asked for my product or a full refund immediately. He said oh, I got an email that your plugs are in transit, they should be here any day. When I asked to see that confirmation email, he said oh, no, I cant let you see that. Huh? Then when I asked for a refund he was more than happy to write one for me, even though he literally just said Id get my product in a few days. Suspicious. Return check he wrote me was from some weird holding company with a PO Box. Very suspicious. I made sure to take a picture of the check before I deposited it, in case I needed to follow up with law enforcement if it bounced. Do yourself a favor, please read the most recent reviews of this man and this business and find a different company to go with. I fear many older, vulnerable people will lose money and support for critical hearing aides if they decide to continue business here. Keep your receipts and if he shuts down and board up, start paperwork for a class action lawsuit and bring up fraud charges. Might take a while to go through, but this is definitely where this is headed, mark my words, which is sad, because the doctor seems like he was once a good guy. Maybe drugs, depression, who knows, but its happening a lot here in Portland, so dont get scammed.

This place is a scam. My experience - I had a hearing test done and ordered custom earplugs. This was in July. Friendly staff and doc. Called in October - apparently the earplug maker they work with wasn't fulfilling orders and Audiology Center NW was unsure why. I had asked for a refund and was told I would get it. No refund came through. I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone again and they haven't returned my messages. Tried calling one more time before leaving this review, even. I don't recommend trusting this audiologist.

I purchased a pair of Phonak Audeo hearing aids from this office in October of 2020. In July of 2023 I went in for a hearing check. Realizing that my warranty on the aids would expire in October 2023, Dr. Frederick recommended I leave them with him so he could send them to Phonak for a check and possible repairs. Four months later I still don't have them and he claims they were lost by Phonak or the shipper. The whole process was supposed to take two and a half weeks. He won't provide me with any information about the transaction, and no longer returns calls. His office has initiated contact with me only twice; I have to go into the office to actually speak with someone. The business is not open the full amount of time listed on their website and it appears that they no longer have a receptionist.
