By far the BEST Hunter jumper trainer on the west coast (with a slew of championship wins across the country) Tara runs a professional, honest boutique style Hunter jumper program. The horses are extremely well cared for and expertly trained and the lessons Ive received from Tara at Sage Equestrian have hugely (and very quickly) improved my confidence, my riding ability and my success competing at A shows. Tara found me a talented young green Hunter and with Taras expert training and lessons, within 2 month we won reserve champion at our first A rated horse show together! If you are looking for an HONEST boutique type facility (where your horse truly gets ridden and trained consistently) and where you will not be lost in the masses of other clients and want to receive high level training from one of the very best hunter jumper riders/trainers on the west coast, this is hands down THE place to be. Tara has the experience and knowledge to take you and your horse to the highest level. If you can dream it, shell get you there! We are fortunate to have a horsewoman of her caliber in Central Oregon.

I dont even know where to start with how amazing Tara and her team are. I began riding with Tara back in August of 2022. Tara helped me find my dream horse in Europe and was truly the best partner I could have asked for throughout the whole process. She has taught me SO much in the past six months and I truly feel like my riding has grown exponentially all due to her eye and her attention to detail. She is the perfect mixture of kindness and honesty which is a rarity in this sport. I cant recommend her enough, she will push you to be the best version of yourself both in riding and in life. One of a kind.
