JGW Ranch LLC

JGW is our second home! The owner and staff treat us and our horses like family. The barn, arena, viewing room and paddocks are kept very clean. The trainer (Cindy Shonka) has tremendously helped my daughter with a difficult mare and helped tone her skills with a spunky POA. Cindy is very patient and offers constructive advice. We really appreciate that all the boarders are friendly and very supportive of each other. JGW has the best location and most beautiful views in central Oregon!!! This is a great facility, very clean and great amenities. Great indoor and outdoor arena, barn and tack room, round pen. The paddocks are grassy and large. Fantastic trainer (Cindy Shonka) and the owner and staff are excellent. The boarders are friendly and supportive. Both my horse and I are very happy here!

Absolutely love this place! The pens are picked daily so no worries about them being dirty. This place is the cleanest barn youll ever see! The trainer is absolutely amazing as well as the staff and other boarders. Everyone is like a big family out here its great. Best place in central Oregon.

Cindy is amazing and by no means is this a reflection of her. Shes great to work with. The property owner however, claims to offer a certain level of care for the horses, but absolutely does not. Youre essentially paying full care costs, for below partial care services. My horse has very little coat and they went a week without blanketing him in below 20 weather and DIDNT TELL ME. There was another horse who had blood on his mouth one evening and they didnt call the owner until the next morning! Big no no and poor equine care and management. Its a nice facility, but youll be paying a to be managing your horse full time anyways. Cindy is great and very wonderful with kids, teens, and adults. The property owner was difficult enough that it made the whole environment unpleasant.
