TK Barrelhorses

We have been boarding our rescue horses at TK Barrelhorses for almost a year now and have been very satisfied with the care our horses have gotten and the facility. Tanya has made great improvements such as automatic waterers, turn outs, rehabilitation opportunities and farrier services. Tanya has always gotten right back to me when I have a question or concern. There are training services and lessons available on site as well. We have access to indoor and outdoor arenas, round pen and a short trail system. BLM trails are just a short distance a way by trailer.

I cant say enough about what a positive experience my daughter has had since coming to TK to learn barrel racing. She started riding English when she was 4 but decided she wanted to try something different about a year ago. I cannot overstate how important having a good instructor is and Tanya Ledbetter has been nothing short of amazing. The facility she runs not only teaches barrel racing but also horsemanship and making sure that both horse and rider are healthy and set up to do their best. Having been around horses and trainers most of my life I can honestly say that the level of commitment that Tanya has to the horses and riders that make up the TK Barrelhorses family is unmatched.

TK Barrel Horse is a no nonsense facility with quiet boarders and staff on site. They keep you posted on animals, updated on training (photos and videos - so you never have to wonder if your horse is being worked), send reminders, and have the most professional stable when it comes to billing and payment. They take the time to know the horses and notice the little changes in mood or temperament, which is incredibly valuable to have when youre boarding and not always around. You will find years of accumulative experience and people willing to help and talk in this barn. This facility and Tanya have curated a cozy and true Central Oregon vibe with the professionalism one would expect in any boarding facility.

Tanya has great knowledge and experience. She is absolutely wonderful with my daughter Abi, teaching her from the ground up how to be a horse woman.
