The Local Bison is inspired and developed by Tony & Emily Galvez, and is taking shape in the ground floor of The Meridia, a mixed-used development at 522 S. Boston Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With over 20 years of bar and restaurant experience, The Local Bison is the culmination of everything we have grown to love. Our food includes Oklahoma favorites with a twist, with all sauces and seasonings made in-house. Our drinks are modern takes on classic cocktails. We strive to focus on many local products, local talents and local artists.

We get there and the place is pitch black, and Im like whats the deal here, is it suppose to look abandoned and the real restaurant is underground and you gotta know the secret passphrase? Like we havent seen that one a hundred times. How original.. not.
But no, it turns out the place was actually closed and their google reservations accepts bookings after hours. I gotta say Ive never seen that one before, in a world where every restaurant is trying to do something unique they really set themselves apart. Just wow.
I will 100% visit again! Hopefully when its not open ;)
