The facility is always clean and the woman who runs is is incredibly sweet. We had our unit broken into while we were waiting to move, and lost everything. I wish they had encouraged us to get a circular lock (we didn’t know they were harder to cut), but we had a pretty beefy master lock so didn’t think much of it. Everything we owned was in there - and it was incredibly traumatizing to watch some crappy people go though your things and hop over the fence backing up to the church with everything you own on their video system. In the two hours they were there - no one driving by saw them and no alarms were tripped. We had just been married for 6 months so they had prime gifts to go though and of course we had no other choice than to have it in storage. It was really such a sad thing to handle the day after July 4th. Luckily we had insurance so we got a check - but that doesn’t make up for the depreciation they deduct (on brand new items) and knowing some man and woman went through pics of you, your stuff and just took it for themselves. The facility/police did everything they could - but these thieves are still out there. Who knows how often this happens, we were just glad to get our remaining things out and move on.
