Shining Light Academy

This school was probably the worst experience of my life. I went there for one year and was relentlessly bullied by the kids in my class. This was because its all very small classes that sometimes can consist of almost all boys. Its a very toxic environment and the teachers do little to nothing to stop it. I learned almost nothing while I was at the school and a certain teacher I had for three classes was just outright mean to me and used her power as a teacher to basically bully me and get what she wanted. I remember on one occasion where she insulted my mother to my face for no good reason and its likely shell never be fired because shes such good friends with the principal. One of the only other teachers i had never taught us anything and just let us sit on our phones basically every class. The kids are horrible and are further from being Christians and a lot of kids at public school. Its all cliques and if you hadnt been going there since early elementary school youre pretty much ostracized. Its been over a year and Im still recovering from deep rooted issues thanks to this school. Please dont send your kids here. Our daughter attends the K-4 program and this is her first time being in any childcare center and she loves it!! Huge shout out to Ms. Hernandez her teacher for being so amazing with the kiddos! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Lori is the best Reiki teacher. She taught me Reiki and was very great at her teachings and fun to be around.
