University Dental Associates Benfield

I have been with Uda myself and my entire family for 3 plus years. My home location is the University locatio, I was unable to get an appointment with my home location due to some staff members being sick so my appointment was moved to the Benfield location. I did not even get the opportunity to make it to the back to see what the service was like because of the unprofessionalism of the young lady they have at the front desk someone needs to take some time and retrain her on how to be more professional and accommodating to customers.

Worst dental office Ive been to.The customer service is terrible.I booked an appointment a month in advance and they just cancelled and told me there was no more availability until next month.They play with peoples time and money. Also ,sending me random bills to my house after telling me I dont owe anything.I have never experienced something like this with no dental office.Never coming back here

It sucks I have to leave this review but this is in response to lack of tact from the receptionist. Ive gone to this place three times now and only seen once. When I first scheduled, I had commented cleaning because Im due. 1st visit: Internet was down and they had to reschedule me because none of their systems were loading. Since Dr had not seen me at all yet, there was no way to assist me. 2nd visit: They took X-Rays and did a consult. I was extremely disappointed because they needed to reschedule me for the cleaning which was what I was needing by then. 3rd visit: They canceled me due to non-confirmation of my visit. The number they called and left messages on was not mine. I showed the receptionist that the last confirmation I received by text was for my second visit. I have no idea how they had an incorrect number at this point, but needless to say I was frustrated. The receptionist made no apologies. Im the kind of person that understands the nature and unpredictability of life and business but if its going to take 3-4 visits when Im not personally accountable for the situations, where is my accommodation? Where is my apology for misuse of my time? Im standing right in front of you, showing you the text messages, relaying its now a second canceled appointment due to your business and your response is the best I can do is 1 tomorrow. When all I needed was a sincere apology. I am giving two stars because the woman who helped me during my second visit was extremely courteous and personable.

Last visit I had Might be the most unprofessional cleaning I ever had in all my 10+ years of dentist appointments, at least a handful of which had been at that location previously with no issue, but this was just egregious. Hygienist takes me xrays poorly, which I didnt know was possible but she somehow lost two so we had to retake it again at the end when the fluroide was already in my mouth. Dentist (harris maybe?) eventually checks in and has zero bedside manner, hardly talks to me, not even to inform me the tools had been supposedly not working all week (he bothered to chat to his hygienist about this, but didnt think to apologize to me for the fact the WATER FLOSSER CONTINUED TO LEAK DOWN MY NECK THE WHOLE TIME). And the hygienist couldnt do her job either because she never wiped and never suctioned properly once during the cleaning, so I kept having water in my mouth I wanted to swallow and not getting a chance to close my mouth on the suction tool because they wouldnt tell me when I COULD. It was incredibly poor display, and while I could tell my dentist was knowledgable as he spent ages checking the xrays and eventually remembering to explain to me, I somehow felt like an afterthought the entire time. The last one isnt entirely their fault, but my previous insurance had lasped and I informed them of a new insurance at the beginning of the visit, as well as a secondary insurance. They told me they ciuldnt find my new insurance and wanted to charge my secondary insurance since it covered everything EXCEPT the flouride. I thought "no big deal, ill figure it out upfront afterwards" but even after the receptionists figure out that my insurance wasnt pulling up because they had the wrong social security for me, they DONT bother to run the new insurance which is my PRIMARY at all, and charge it to the secondary. Well, turns out flouride WAS covered by my primary, so thanks for wasting $33!
