Smile Savvy Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Drew and Dr. Joya are absolutely PHENOMENAL. Ive been waiting to give my feedback, to allow myself time to process the new me. Its been about 3 months since my smile transformation. To give you a little back story, I struggled for a very long time with a fear of dentists. Just being in the office, sitting there waiting would cause high anxiety sometimes leading to panic attacks. Over the last 15 years, I have visited over 9 dentists, trying to overcome my fears and address dental concerns that should have been addressed starting at the age of 9; I am now 31. With each dental office visit and consultation, at no fault of any dental professional, I often felt out of place, I felt nervous to smile, to speak, let alone to open wide and allow them to inspect. Due to dental issues early on in childhood, it was an intense self esteem and emotionally overwhelming fear to face. I first stumbled upon Smile Savvy Cosmetic Dentistry via their Instagram social media page @drdrewlyons_drjoyalyons. I took advantage of their free online consultation because hey, I didnt have to be there and show them in person! () This consultation gave me productive feedback, along with some words of encouragement to bring me in and begin taking baby steps. Fast forward, 2 years later, I FINALLY was brave enough to contact them and make an appointment. I was seen that same week. My first visit, I waited maybe 5-10mins in the waiting area. The staff greeted me with a smile, never making me feelout of place. (Which was clearly very important to me). We completed X-rays and an initial consultation to address the best approach for a transformative smile (little did I know). We sat down, discussed a plan, saw images, negotiated on best quality and was given several payment solutions before any work was started. Jumping ahead 5 weeks, I had a new smileand what felt like a new lighter feeling. To say my smile is the only thing thats changed is not giving enough credit to the incredible dental work practiced by Dr. Drew. Its an investment to yourself, an investment I owed to myself years ago and now - guess who walks into the dentist with a smile? Dr. Joya was excellent. Shhe was thorough and did an excellent job explaining everything and took her time with the cleaning. Im looking forward to continued care. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Was highly recommended this dentist office by another patient as I moved away from the dentist I usually go to. I must say I was highly dissatisfied. My first visit ended up being a consultation that was not communicated to me at all where they took my X-rays and pushed a very expensive orthodontic plan on me when I thought I was just coming in for a cleaning like originally scheduled. I was then told I would come back in a week for an actual cleaning. I came back for my cleaning and must say it was the worst cleaning experience I have had. The dentist was friendly, but it felt very rushed. The hygienist was horrible. She was not personable at all and was so heavy handed my mouth was very sore after leaving. The office staff overall wasnt personable. I will be making the drive back to my original dentist.

I absolutely love that they are committed to on time scheduled appointments. I walked in and I was sitting in the dental chair within 5 minutes with service, with a warm and friendly greeting.
