Savoy

Mostly negative experience: - Walls and ceilings are made of paper. You will hear everything your next door neighbor says and hear every small footstep of your upstairs neighbor. And yea, management will ignore your noise complaints. - Staff are generally very pleasant except one dude with the mustache. Honestly seems like he hates working here. - Packages get lost all the time. - If youre in the middle sections (facing inner courtyards) you will barely get cell service (1-2 /4 bars). - lots of shady people in the street at night, and theres not a lot of light or other people. So its pretty scary to walk back to the apartment at night. Some positives: - generally very clean, no pests indoors. Only roach Ive seen was in the outdoor Terrance. - gym is better than expected as I can do my full workout, but make sure you go during non peak hours. - very inconvenient to recycle things because you have to go to the parking area and its a hassle Conclusion: I decided to rent here because it was close to my office, but The Savoy is prob the worst apartment on the street. Only come here if the other apartments in the street (uptown 550, Francis, etc) are full.

The leasing office removed my name from my lease without my consent or signing a roommate release agreement. This left my abusive ex-girlfriend Tia Rawls in apartment 601 with thousands of dollars worth of my belongings after she literally tried to run me off the road and kill me. This place has definitely gone downhill over the years because of the staff and cleanliness. Office staff do not hold true to their word as far as returning calls or follow up emails that they communicated they would send and the property isnt as clean as it use to uphold. Also, most of these reviews for Savoy are fake posted by real residents so that they could be entered into a giveaway. Theres so many places in the area which would be much more suitable for living and peace of mind.
