CityMD East 125th St Urgent Care- Manhattan

Ive come here a few times with my son. The staff is professional, courteous and the wait is usually very short.

Some of the Drs are nice. Even some of the front desk staff but not so much on my recent visit. The office manager is very fake and rude. I was the first to sign in with one person ahead of me then several other patients signed in after me and they were still called ahead of me and when I said something the office manager tried to blame me by saying I had headphones on and that I did hear her call me which was a lie; and when I attempted to explain to her that they werent even powered on (I had one ear without headphones which was in proximity to their front desk) and I could hear everything including her talking loud and joking saying she loved some guy. (which probably prevented me from hearing them call my name. ). On top of the fact that the office manager showed favoritism to other patients and even approached them to assist them, but she didnt approach me to even tell me my name was being called? Doesnt add up. Dr. Adedayo was very helpful and kind and she calmed me down and treated me with respect despite the negative emotions from the office managers behavior. My advice treat everyone with respect even if you dont like them for whatever personal reasons you have.

This is the rudest healthcare place I have ever been to. This branch is unique from all other citymds I have been to. It has the most hostile and actually meanest customer care I have ever experienced, not just in a medical facility, but anywhere.

This is the worst CityMD. Ive previously been to the one off of 67th in the Upper East Side and it was so much better. I believe the extreme difference in neighborhoods and respect for the patients that come to seek help and service is the root cause of the horrific reviews here. Dr. Carl D. did nothing for me and said there was nothing he could do when I went in with illness and my documented complaints on a Sunday morning. By Wednesday I was at my primary care doctor after work with a severe sinus infection with horrific pain in one side of my face, (I was in tears and could not hear well out of one ear) and blood pressure so high I could stroke out right there in the office, so the primary care office called 911 and transported me to the ER where I was treated properly for my conditions. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS CITY MD again, and save yourself TIME AND MONEY and go to the Upper East Side and get treated. Absolute travesty of a medical facility.
