Myself and many of my fellow city coworkers often feel when we visit a city MD we are treated and attended too as if they were our primary doctor. Often times some my coworkers advise my primary doctor isn't even that attentative. Professionally on point.

Had a really disappointing experience here the other day and it reminded me why people dont seek out medical care. 27 yr old Female I came into the office with intermittent pain in both ears that would go down into my throat, dizziness, vomiting with little movement in the morning, struggling to turn without dizziness, and generally was off. Gave them all of my medications. Temp: 99.8, heart rate (from the second they started monitoring me to the moment I left): ~140/97. The nurse told me that my blood pressure was a little high and that she wanted to continue monitoring me. She left and sent in the doctor. He asked me what was wrong and I explained: How moving caused me to vomit multiple times earlier in the day but I thought my nausea had passed so I decided to continue on with my plans. I was out for a bit and then had brunch and a mimosa with friends but had to leave because I started to feel too unwell to stay out (his face lightened up immediately). I then repeated all of my specific symptoms that I had told the nurse ^^. I knew as soon as the words came out of my mouth that I should NOT have mentioned the alcohol. I could tell he was no longer taking me seriously but I continued to explain everything in detail. **Drs say to be completely honest so they are able to *help us*, which is why I mentioned the mimosa. I dont know what alcohol impacts!! I was scared and was trying to give him all of the information.** He checked my ears, didnt see anything, then asked if I have been congested. I responded no. Then he said I should get a nasal decongestant and to take Tylenol. He never checked my heart, eyes, or throat. (feels necessary to me but maybe not) I pushed back and tried *again* to explain how unwell I was feeling, even just sitting down with him now being completely still. He said yeah its called vertigo, that will go away. He left immediately and said over his shoulder that they would call me in a prescription for some medication ((that I knew nothing about)) and said I was good to go whenever.. wasnt given as much as a sticky note with what I was being prescribed. So I took off my heart monitor, still reading 140/97, left and took a cab 3 minutes down the road because I felt too sick to do the short walk home. Needless to say I was NOT congested and ended up having vivid **hallucinations** that night among other things.. UM EXCUSE ME!!!! AND I had a $60 copay! What a waste of money. Could have taken the girls out to another boozy brunch. - be well ((The nurse and the rest of the staff I interacted with were all extremely kind and attentive))
