        I've only used Kickstarter once so far - later we found out it was a scam. Thankfully I was just in time to file a chargeback and my credit card company cooparated with me brilliantly. Unfortunately KICKSTARTER (German and English costumer service) reacted to reports and mails but did not take action at all. They simply told us to "contact the project owner" but there are no replies at all, hasn't been online for months, their website is down, mails are returned... SHAME ON KICKSTARTER because they didn't take action at all for me and the other 489 backers, they just sat that one out. Make sure you're informed about your credit card company's deadlines for chargebacks when you use Kickstarter!
