If I could give zero stars I would. I live in a studio apartment managed by Salon Realty and have been without heat since 11/24/22. I was without heat and hot water from 11/24/22-12/1/22 (when hot water was more or less restored) they still made me paid full rent and as of 12/19/22 they do not give me a date for when heat will be restored. There has not been formal documentation of whats happening. They didnt reach out about the issue, I had to be the one to open communication. I have asked for alternatives but aside from giving me spaces heaters that is driving my energy cost up they told me 3 portable heaters are able to keep your apartment warm. ignoring the cost and the fact that their advice is a fire hazard. Im still without heat and hot water doesnt work well in my bathroom in the evenings this situation is beyond frustrating to say the least.

I live on east 27th at a building managed by salon realty. The location is perfect, less than 2 minute walk to 6 train. The super is great, he keeps the building spotless. Management has always been responsive and helpful. I have been here 5 years, if they don't raise my rent I will stay forever. The ice cream shop attached to the building is awesome. Restaurant next door is great. Perfect NYC experience. Highly recommend the bldg.
