Dermer Management

Dermer Management is the managing office for my co-op and an excellent management company at that! I will say as a first-time co-op owner I was surprised by the number and cost of fees but you truly do get what you pay for! Dermer is engaged, responsive, and professional. Laurie in particular is always a great help and quick to respond when needed. Especially after speaking with friends in other co-ops I do feel very lucky to have their management!

This building management company refused to let me live in an condo apartment building because of my race, even after I signed a leased with the landlord. I just moved from San Francisco and suddenly I had no place to live. I had to stay in a hotel for more than two months with an infant. It caused so much suffering and trauma to us. And they still refused to admit their act and keep hurting us by saying they did not do anything wrong. By the way, all the fake 5 star reviews are published at the same time. This is no surprise to us, consistent with their other illegal actions.

In this challenging real estate market, we had a listing that was on the market for quite a long time. During that time, we had numerous questions for Ms. Parra. She was always prompt, knowledgeable and helpful with her replies and feedback. Her help and guidance was very much appreciated.

My team and I dealt with managing agent, Elaine Parra Montanez for the past 1.5 years on one particular co-op. During this entire time we have found Elaine's services to be prompt and professional. She was knowledgeable, quick to resolve any issues we had and her responses were always extremely courteous. Worthy of mention is that whenever we had a co-op board question, she would always reach out to the board members to get us an answer. We met Elaine today for the first time at the Closing. Elaine is definitely an asset to your establishment!

The managing agent Elaine at Dermer Management was very nice to work with. Throughout the coop purchase application process she was professional the whole time and responsive to each of my inquiries and the approval process went really fast! I hope I get to work with Elaine and Dermer Management again. Thank you!
