Raised my rent about 15% with no notice at all. I informed them that this is illegal over the phone. 60 days written notice is required to raise a tenants rent over 5%. They first said they would adjust it then said they would not make it easy for me. No email responses ever. I continue to pay my previous rent price with a mounting statement due to the illegal price increase balance. Very unprofessional and stressful for me.

Worked with them as a vendor and client for 10+ years. The landlord business is a tough business. You cant please 100% of the population. Things go wrong all the time, 100% of the time, and they deal with it with ethics and common sense. Dealing with them has been a pleasure. They actually pick up the phone (unlike 90% of the NYC property management), pay on time, and treats their tenants and vendors with the level of respect that we all deserve.
