Ive been a tech at NFD for over 3 years now and i can guarantee they have kept me busy nearly every day with a great pay per job process ! All dispatchers have mostly treated me high respects and as a valued tech. I would encourage everything that you need done be handled but NFD as we've tackled all kinds of jobs.

Incredibly shady, business and experience. I was called out for no water at a drinking fountain. I spoke with Jason, and told him how much diagnostics would cost, which he approved. Took off the panels and noticed The condenser had a large block of ice on it that had frozen over the supply line. Explained to Jason that I would unplug the unit, let the ice melt overnight, and then I would return the next day to test everything out, which would incur another trip charge/diagnostic fee. I explained that if the drinking fountain needed to be replaced that we would waive any charges from the return visit. This was approved by Jason. They wanted to pay with Zelle, which is a first, especially from a maintenance company. Jason told me that if I didnt receive payment, he would send a screen shot of the confirmation. Of course I did not receive payment so after 5 min I called and he said it could take up to 20 min for payment. After 20 min he then claimed Zelle was not working (although he had already send me a confirmation of payment - likely bogus) and after some time agreed to pay online. I returned day 2 and the water was restored, however the condenser did not turn on and needs to be replaced. After explaining this to Jason he said that the job will be handed over to a different branch and that they would not be able to pay for the return trip. NFD used me to get a cheap diagnosis which Im sure they will now shop around for the lowest bidder and find a way to not pay them. Save yourself the headache.

Ive been working with national facilities, direct for approximately two years. Overall, its been a really good experience. I am a certified HVAC technician, that owns my own company. they feed me some really good jobs with competitive wages. I like that they dont settle for mediocre work. They only want the best working for them, and they only accept the best jobs done for their customers, I was sorry to see Nilo my handler leave to pursue a career as an Engineer. Marcus his Manager is also a great guy. I was working with him before Nilo and will enjoy working with him for many years to come.
