Bunk1

POOR customer service! I accidentally bought bunk notes for the wrong camp for the camp my daughter previously attended. Customer service told me to buy credits for the correct camp and they would reimburse for the wrong camp. Now that I paid another $100- they have rolled all of the credits into one account, so I have $200- worth of bunk notes half of which will go to waste. They will not reimburse me after many requests. A few years ago it was $25- for the same service, which seemed reasonable. I wish the camp would charge us directly and the money would go to them instead of another company that doesn't care about customer service and doing the right thing. Next year I am going snail mail.

This service is totally a rip off. There is not much you can do in the app besides viewing photos - and you have to pay for it to write some like 10 notes to kids (but there is no status check if/when these notes are delivered). They just want to make money on every tiny thing. The app does not really connects to your kids in camp. The only thing you can do is to view photos and you need to pay for that - any photo service like Google Photos can do that for free. Functions are very limited. The website is slow and hangs from time to time. I cannot believe they have developed this for 15 years!

I bought bunkmail for my child once she got to camp. Ive written 3 letters and got no response, until i learned that she cant write back. I would have had to buy and print off their custom pages for 2 bucks each! A basic exchange is 3 dollars.if you add photos its extra.. Why couldnt she just type Thanks Mom love you too? Because bunkmail wants more money. Do you think camp counsellors have time for this printing scanning faxing?? Its rediculous. Do not recommend. Sent regular mail. Camp is not supposed to be about this money making garbage.
