This firm recently acquired Pacific Bells, one of the largest Taco Bell franchises in the US, yet the quality of service at the restaurants continues to decline. I wish I could count the number of times Ive been stuck in a drive through lane that doesnt move for 25-30 minutes and have to literally get out of my vehicle and convince everyone behind to back out.
I understand staffing shortages and am behind workers that want a better work environment for themselves; however, its plain wrong to leave people stuck in the drive through with no way out and no communication whatsoever. If you dont have anyone to make food, send someone out to tell people that. This is the responsibility of the organization, not the workers. Ill gladly leave if I know itll be such a long wait. Plenty of other franchises running like clockwork.
You need to put pressure on Tom Cook to run this operation better. The workers arent happy. The communities these restaurants serve arent happy. And most are happy to go elsewhere if it means they wont be late getting back to work after being stuck in a drive through lane indefinitely.
Do better.
