Terrible customer service! I started a rental insurance with Effective Coverage back in August of 2021. They had added someone's name to my insurance that I did not know her!! I had to call them multiple times to fix it and every time they were making a new mistake. Needless to say I had to stay on phone for more than 30 minutes each time I was calling. Finally, I decided to cancel my rental insurance with them after one week from start date and they deducted about 30% of my money! Later I found out their competitors charge much less than them (25-40% lower) . I do not recommend them for rental insurance.

While the phone agents were professional, they were ineffective at remedying nearly $50 in fees that should not have been charged to my rent account. Even with written proof, they were not able to refund the charges. I asked to speak to a supervisor and two weeks have gone by without any attempt to contact me.
