I have nothing to do with this company, have never heard of them before.... Until my bank called me about questionable charges to my acct. In all there are 4 separate charges totaling around $1,350.00. One alone was for 900 and some... Another for $99, another for$125.00, and one for $100.00. my question to this company is this? Is this how you make your money, by making fraudulent transactions from unknowing persons?? Mar 1st, 2024

I've been using Collective2 for about 4 years, both as a strategy manager and someone who's followed several managers on the platform. The problem with Collective2 is most users, especially new users with no investing experience, will gravitate to the strategies that have recently made outrageously high returns in a short period...100%, 600%, etc, instead of to the conservative strategies that have produced modest past returns. Sure, there's a chance they could make those same returns for some time, but most of the time, those aggressive strategies fail, and people lose money. The strategies on C2 that have made modest past returns... 10%, 15% per year for years or even decades, get largely ignored, because that's human nature, and Collective2 is a democratic system. I do wish there were some sort of regulations to prevent hyper-aggressive risk taking, but I guess that would also take away the "freeness" from the free market. There is a "C2 score" ranking system which does somewhat help people stay out of trouble, but it's not perfect and in my opinion there are strategies (even some of the ones on the leaderboard) that take on way too much risk. I was originally going to leave a 4 star review, but I ended up going with 5 stars because at the end of the day, this is where all the investing talent is. Many of the strategy managers are quants with engineering backgrounds that take risk very seriously. Currently, the #1 ranked strategy on C2 is, in my opinion, the closest thing in past performance to the Renaissance Technologies Fund that a regular investor can get his or her hands on. Okay I'm done ranting. Feb 29th, 2024

Mark - I'm sorry to hear someone used your credit card without authorization. I can't seem to find your customer name in our records, so would you mind reaching out to us either by phone or email to let us know the details so that we can refund you, if you haven't already taken care of it directly with your bank. Also, contacting us and letting us know the transaction details will help us track down the scoundrel who did this this, and prevent him from doing it again. I'm very sorry you went through this. Credit card fraud is a problem every legitimate company online has to fight against. We try to work with any customer or person who reports a transaction that was not made by them. Please reach out to us so that we know who you are, and so that we can help you.
