    I had the most ridiculous problem with Chase. I had arranged through their app to have funds automatically transferred to another account twice per month several years ago. I wanted to stop the transfers now because I no longer needed them. Chase refused to cancel the transactions even though the money was being taken from their back to go to another bank. Although I set this transfer up originally on Chases website, they said I had to cancel it with the other bank or I could pay them $30 to place a stop on the account. I called the other bank and they said it was Chases responsibility to do it because I set it up with Chase. Chase refused to cancel it again because they said it was initiated by the other bank, but I never initiated it with that bank. This was a ridiculous round robin for 4.5 hours today. No one at Chase would believe me or the other banks officer that they initiated each transfer and had for years. Worse, no one cared why their records showed the wrong information. I cannot trust them now and will close my accounts.

    How is it possible that the largest bank in the U.S., with trillions of dollars in assets, does not accommodate their customers by having a 24/7 customer service line for Chase Debit card issues? I recently had a fraudulent charge on my debit card. I filed a claim and the service representative closed my existing debit card account. I received a new card in the mail. I activated the new card by phone with no problems. However, when I went to use my card on Saturday, my card was declined at a retail store. I tried calling the number on the back of my card and after going through the prompts, a recording said the offices were closed. CLOSED?!?! I was advised to call back on Monday. I was intending to go to the grocery store and get gas on that Saturday afternoon. It is just incomprehensible to me that Chase Bank does not support its Debit Card customers on weekends. And I would guess on bank holidays, as well. This is just unacceptable. So many things can happen with your debit card outside of Chase's weekday hours that need immediate attention.
