Horrible company and awful customer service. I paid someone who scammed me for concert tickets, and after they received my payment they blocked me and did not send the tickets. I contacted my bank and had them stop the payment, which they did. But a few days later I get an email from venmo saying I owe them that money, which was over 600 dollars, and that they are putting a hold on my account until they do. I called them and they were useless. They said the only way to unlock my account is to pay them, which I will not be doing. My grandmother paid me some money for graduation, that venmo stole from me to go towards the balance that they think I owe them. Based on reviews it looks like other people have had similar experiences.

Venmo has horrible service. They closed my account for no apparent reason and I was waiting in a deposit. I still havent received my money

*****STOP Using Venmo***** I'm so sick of banks and these money apps! They slow down, block and cancel withdrawals for their own best interests! I have Over 54k in Venmo an they don't want to hand it over. I can't use the card nor instant transfer eventhose my last instant transfer was back in October of 2022. I'm fully verified and have multiple accounts linked including my AMEX. After days of pointless chats with them, i was forced to do a standard transfer. I had to wait 1 - 3 business days. ONCE I did, on the 3rd day they then froze my account to prolong it 5 - 7 more business days. Now there is more to what they are doing, but ill save the book for another time. But long story short, They are stalling my withdrawal. To me that's not a good sign. It sends up red flags. PONZi So on, I hope someone teaches them all a permanent lesson to not mess with people's money!
