AMAZING! I am beyond esthetically picky :)...The place was exactly as shown online. We had a lovely rustic stay in a wonderfully authentic cabin. The customer service was the best I've ever experienced in all my years of rentals and there have been many ! Thank you Zach!! We will be looking at other properties to rent from them in the future . I loved my weekend here! The house is lovely and well equipped for a variety of things- cooking, lounging about, entertaining. The view is great and the house is located conveniently between many close towns, shops & hikes!

Our "old-college-friends" group of 18 had a terrific long-weekend in September at The Homestead in the Catskills. The house and setting gave us the perfect set-up of common and private space, amenities, cleanliness, and beauty. Red Cottage walked us through the process at every point, and the knowledgeable caretaker met us when we arrived. The house had everything we needed (although they need a new coffee pot), from sheets and towels to every type of dish or pan that you could want. We highly recommend Red Cottage and The Homestead for a group or large family gathering. (And The Kaatskeller restaurant in Livingston Manor was a perfect place for our group dinner. The outdoor setting and food were perfect!)

Everyone that I have dealt with at Red Cottage has been very professional, customer oriented, with a determined sense of urgency! They are always courteous, and want to help find solutions for challenging issues. From Jennifer and Joey, to all the other employees, they are great to work with. Also, Pete DeMillio, has been extremely helpful with the many projects he has been involved with at our cabin!
