Ok. I confess. I've been searching apartments and condominiums for friends that want to move to Manhattan. After going to the exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York I decided to check out the buildings designed by Rosario Candela. Some DO have vacancies. This beautiful building is one of my favorites. The price starts at $3,250,000 for a one bedroom. The amenities are great within the building including a playroom for children. BUT the huge amenity for me is outside the building. It's the proximity to Central Park. You can see the park as you turn to your left exiting the front door. I met a resident that happens to have a child. The residents are very happy with their building and the amenities provided. I also spoke to the uniformed doorman on duty. He has a very nice, with a clean, neat presentation. In addition to the historic significance of the building you get the modern atmosphere when at home. Everything will be up to code when completed.
