Jorge and his team at Fontana Architecture are terrific. We bought a condo in Chelsea and needed assistance with the renovation. They navigated us swiftly and effectively thru the condo HOA approval process, the NY Building Dept. permitting and then bidding. We went with their contractor recommendation, and we could not be happier. Jorge and Katie were responsive, helpful and knowledgeable during every stage of the process. Five stars -- only b/c they don't have six!

I wanted to wait until we got the apartment renovated to leave a review but our experience with Mr. Fontan today was so unexpected that I wanted to say, if you need someone knowledgeable, kind, gracious and understanding to work with your renovation project, give Mr. Fontan a call. I was doing research after difficulties finding the right person to work with. Through previous mistakes I finally landed on Mr. Fontans blog where I got myself educated things that I was not doing right before. Connected with Mr. Fontans office and everything was so smooth! Katie was very responsive and in less than a day we were already speaking with Mr. Fontan and he offered to check out our place right away! My place is a tiny one bedroom UWS apartment. That sense of urgency and the ability to listen to what we have to say, its very hard to find nowadays. Mr. Fontan was focused, upfront, open minded and generous with his knowledge; not to mention very patient with my non-verbal twin (screaming) toddlers. I wished I found Mr. Fontan earlier but thats how life works, we definitely got lucky this time to have him direct us to the right path. So far, just a side note. Today to show my appreciation of Mr. Fontans time, I got coffee ready but herbal tea might work better for Mr. Fontan, lol. Im so hopeful about my project now.

Fontan Architecture provides excellent architecture and zoning services. I highly recommend this firm for ground up construction and apartment renovations. I applaud their honesty, creativity and ability to keep projects on track. Thank you for making this process seamless and enjoyable. I look forward to further collaborations!

We worked on several projects with Jorge Fontan , He is knowledgeable, responsive and a problem solving. I would definitely recommend His firm for Your next project as he offers A one stop service. You will need An architect with experience filing all the paperwork in NYC and I don't know anyone better Than Jorge.
