I found my grandmother from 1938, tracking her and her mother to 202 Riverside Drive. I tried calling the Management Co. who runs the building in hopes to get any information or records they may still have on past tenants. Wishful thinking right. When I called I was told to call back and ask for Sonia. I called back and got Jessica who wouldn't transfer me to Sonia, who wouldn't tell me who Sonia was and had to know every detail as to why I was calling yet spoke over me and couldn't care less. When I asked who the owner was she said she can't tell me and hung up on me. Very frustrating when you finally get a lead to your past. If this is the service you tenants get from the Management Co. I feel so sorry for you, especially being a landlord myself. I would never speak or treat my tenants like that. IF ANYONE READING THIS HAS ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHO I CAN REACH OUT TO OR WHO THE OWNER IS I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! SUE

Only giving it one star because I cant do zero. The super of this building is amazing and works really hard to make it livable. But the owners are awful.no working gas in half the building since September, they market the building with 24/7 security but just fired everyone 2 weeks before christmas so now no way to securely receive packages and people wander in and out of the building.and dont even ask me about the elevators. I rarely write negative reviews, but am doing this in the public interest since their marketing approach is deceptive.

It was my worst application process ever. They charge $80 application fee + 500$ deposit on top (non refundable is you decide not to go with their apartment). They dont want to show their sample lease contract before you send them money. The only way to do it is going to their office with the money. If you still want to take time to read the contract, they would charge you $250 just to issue a lease which is odd. Then imagine, you pay 580$ and realize that you dont agree with some of the contract parts, you would be charged those $580 for nothing.

Ive been living here for a while now and I cant wait for my lease to end. This is the worst managed building Ive ever lived at. One of two elevators in the building has been broken for 4 months now and management isnt fixing it. The other is a small 1925 elevator that management never replaced, which is also used for construction litter, for moving, and for removing the trash. I live on one of top floors with 2 toddlers and it takes us 10 minutes to get an elevator in the morning. it is not uncommon for both elevators to be out of service and for us to have to climb up 7 or 8 floors with a toddler and a folded stroller. Management doesnt seem to care unless there is an open house in which case they try to make both elevators work on that day it seems. Weve also had frequent water problems in the building. There were some weeks when there was no water for an hour or two in the middle of the day for all but a tiny drip, and its not uncommon to run out of hot water during the day in which case you just cant take a shower. Management took its time to fix it, and didnt think that leaving tenants without running water is something that should be handled with urgency. Construction quality in our renewed apartment also leaves a lot to be desired. Doors are of the cheapest quality and tend to break very easily, the insulation is really bad, cabinets are not properly built or missing shelves, window frames are old and bent and very hard to close shut, and so on and so forth. Luca the superintendent is wonderful and tries his best to help, but theres a limit to what he can do when the owners wont spend a dime to fund proper maintenance. Management is just awful and doesnt do anything to keep the building running properly except of take good care of the public spaces aesthetics (which is nice). I regret the day we moved to this building. Update Feb 18, 2020: no hot water, not even lukewarm, not at 8pm and at 11pm. baths and showers cancelled for everybody tonight, kids and adults! Elevator still not running, and were nearing the 5 months mark.
