Sadly, I thought I would be a repeat customer of Crown Tile, but based on my first hand experience (read on) , BEWARE!! SHOP ELSEWHERE !!! I WAS TOLD DIRECTLY FROM CROWN TILE, THEY FELT THEY SHOULDN’T TAKE THE “HIT” FOR SELLING A DEFECTIVE VANITY.I purchased a Fairmont Vanity in July from Crown Tile and I received the item in December. The vanity arrived defective (photos below) with a dent on the right side panel. You can tell this is a manufacture error as there is no wood chipping shown - the wood was defective during manufacturing and painted over.I contacted Crown Tile immediately and provided photos of this defect. I was advised by Brendon that I could swap my brand new vanity ( with one defect/dent) for the showroom model (which has been on display for at least 5 months ) at no discounted rate. But the showroom vanity, upon in person inspection, had slight defects. Brendon made it a point to remind me his offer to swap vanities was a FAVOR to me to prevent further delays for my remodel. He never offered a refund, credit towards another vanity, or to simply have the vanity defect fixed. Although, I was told if I wanted to swap the vanities that Crown Tile would do me a favor, although there are cost associated with gas and crew, but the $70 delivery charge fee would be waived.What a joke.Brendon advised me he contacted Fairmont Designs ( he made it a point to mention Fairmont Designs is a "hard company" to work with) and he was told the vanity is currently out of stock with no restock timeframe ( how convenient), but offered no additional details. He did say he would continue to fight with the company about the defect and he would pass along any refunds he may receive …. I’m guessing this would be another “favor” to me….Here's the best part, Brendon tells me that frankly he "DOESN'T THINK HE SHOULD TAKE THE HIT FOR THIS (DEFECT)" - I thanked him for his honesty on my way out the door and his comment confirmedI I would never do business there again. Crown Tile will offer you resolutions at their convenience ( but make it sound like they are doing you a HUGE favor) but Crown Tile WILL NOT go above and beyond to ensure your customer satisfaction. Although, I, the customer, paid full price for the vanity from Crown Tile, once the transaction is complete, Crown Tile takes no ownership on the products they sell. Remember, they aren't taking the "hit" on any product defects so you the customer has to take the "hit" for any quality issues on purchased item. You would have thought I bought this $1,500 vanity from someone off the street, and not a "reputable” business who you would think has a relationship with its suppliers to resolve these matters in a timely fashion,What a joke. Don’t let the nice guy routine fool you - SHOP ELSEWHERE.
