The place is super cute, we started outside but then had to move in to the counter seating as it got pretty chilly. Ive been wanting to try tea leaf salad since the last time I had it years ago at another Burmese restaurant in DC. So I was very happy to see this dish on the menu. We got the tea leaf salad, the shrimp curry, the paratha, and the spicy mee shay noodles. Loved every dish. The tea leaf salad was a bit more Americanized using cabbage shreds from what I remember, but the fermented tea leaves in there were yummy. I loved the shrimp curry - the shrimp was so flavorful! The spicy mee shay noodles were also fantastic - very saucy! The only thing that could improve was the food prep/service time. Our server was very helpful in helping us chase the orders but we sat outside for more than 30min before food arrived and had to move inside since we were pretty cold by then.

  • 202403 The decoration is very cute. Happy hour is open every day (including holidays!) before seven o'clock. It's so happy. I ordered the mock mule for only $6. It tasted very good. We also ordered $5 beer and $7 grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp was super delicious. I thought the salad below was just foreshadowing. The result was also very delicious. For main meal we had lemongrass fish soup noodles and udon noodles. I think it is a little more ordinary. The soup of lemongrass fish soup noodles is very thick and more like sauce or soup. There is a piece of fried stuff in it, which tastes a bit like a vegetable croquette.
