Maggie Ritnour is a passionate, caring, and dedicated therapist. She is creative, empathetic, and kind --while holding a boundaried therapeutic space that deeply challenges the individuals she works with. She is an expert in her field with an expansive knowledgeable base about art therapy, HAES, eating disorder recovery, and Radically Open DBT. I highly recommend Maggie for individual and group psychotherapy!

I've had the immense pleasure of participating in RO DBT Skills Class for Clinicians facilitated by Maggie Ritnour. This class has made a huge impact on me and how I work with my clients. Maggie has a warm, joyful presence (even through a computer screen) and it's so obvious how deeply she cares about challenging her students/clients to learn more about themselves and what they are capable of. Maggie is doing work that she loves, and it is so palpable.

I was very fortunate to be a participant in Maggie's Radically Open DBT Skills class! I learned immensely from her teaching. She was always professional, prepared and organized for class and found a way to make all of the class content relatable and easy to understand. I so appreciated Maggie's ability to teach and lead by example; she was welcoming and warm and cultivated a nonjudgmental therapeutic space that allowed me to feel comfortable being my authentic self and thus further benefit from her teaching!

Maggie Ritnour and I have collaborated for over 5 years. She not only provides excellent individual psychotherapy but also collaborates with outpatient teams effectively. Her collaboration and extensive experience as a psychotherapist has taken clients from the depths of an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, and more to recovery. Maggie is energetic, a seeker of knowledge, empathetic, and direct. Her level of expertise in eating disorders, disorders of overcontrol, and art therapy are second to none. On top of all she offers in her individual sessions, she also teaches Radically Open DBT skills classes! There is no one else I would recommend more than Maggie Ritnour.
