        This restaurant is very frustrating. The food is disappointing (very salty caesar salad, bland cauliflower, fish sticks that arent fish sticks that also are bland) and significantly over priced. The olmsted restaurants on vanderbilt are riding on a name that used to be popular while serving mediocre food at an insulting price point. please let other restaurants enter the space and make food worth eating.

        Wanted to like this place. Our first experience was weird but they were still new so took a second chance this weekend now that theyve been open for a couple years. Food is mostly good though some of the attempts at seasonality are misguided. Service is a mess and the 3 manager looking types stressfully wringing their hands instead of lending one is odd. We ordered everything at the same time. Most food came after 30 minutes which is long but understandable for a busy place. The kids food came 5 minutes after the rest. Some coffee came 5 minutes after that, a glass of wine 5 minutes after that and the final coffee came a full 20 minutes after the food. Dishes and silverware were dirty. There was an older manager looking guy standing over our table with a laptop. He never helped the server and runners. He was within a couple feet of us the whole time so almost wanted to ask him to leave for privacy sake but the piecemeal service never let conversation get to comfortable anyway so wasnt the end of the world. I was as confused as we were embarrassed to have brought friends from out of town. Kid-friendliness: Kids food came 5 minutes after the rest so not particularly kid friendly.

        Great place for brunch! Easy to find and with many options to choose from. It is not a place to just try a coffee. It is a place to have the whole brunch experience. It also has benches outside that will be perfect for the spring and summer seasons.
