Teri Cavanaugh Real Estate

So, after reviewing several online stellar real estate reviews on Realtor Teri Cavanaugh in February 2022, my wife and I contacted her to discuss the possibility of her becoming our realtor in the sale of our home in Greenwood Brooklyn NY. (This meeting occurred a couple months after an initial failed six-month marginal experience with a different real estate realtor). We met her at our home and she was very pleasant, informative and thorough explaining what had to be done in order to sell our home in a fast paced steadily declining buyer's market. We agreed on a home sale contract - A few months later after a heavy flow of potential buyers and expected bumps along the way our home was SOLD. Moreover, Teri was like a bulldog She was punctual and relentless in her attempts to sell our home. We had an avalanche of potential buyers that attended the weekly open house. Further, she had great connections to see this sale through. Teri referred us to other professionals who corrected obstacles along the way such as excellent real estate attorney Jill who kept us posted with all the Pros/Cons and issues as they arrived that required corrections along the way. Teri is such an incredible person and broker. She's patient, she's attentive; she really takes the time to get to know you as an individual and what your wants and needs are, and then is able to deliver. Teri and I went through multiple properties (during COVID) over the span of a few years. She kept up her persistence and attention and we finally found the perfect place. I could not be happier - I will be working with Teri for as long as I'm in NYC. Highly recommend!!

Teri is an absolute Superstar!!! After interviewing several real estate agents based on their Yelp ratings, we ended up choosing her. We were drawn to her based on her impressive market knowledge, her forthrightness and her clarity in explaining the purchase process. Right off the bat, after discussing our requirements, she sent us over a look book with apartments that fit our criteria. The apartment we ended up buying was 3rd on the list. She had done her research and provided us with listings that fit our criteria like a glove. She ended up accompanying us as we saw various apartments. When we found the one we liked, she sat down with us and walked us through the paperwork we needed to assemble, gave us a list of mortgage lending contacts and outlined to us what we needed to make a bid. As first time buyers we were very anxious but she allayed our fears and helped us make a bid that was sensible. During negotiations and before closing, there were several unforeseen problems that arose, but we knew that Teri had our backs and was able to tactfully manage each situation. She also recommended her preferred inspector, lawyers and insurance agent. We were extremely pleased with each one of them, she has a SUPERB network. Teri is a friendly, caring individual who will go above and beyond for her clients. We count her as a friend now. We wholeheartedly would recommend her to any prospective buyer. If you need a fighter on your side, go with her.

As a first time buyer, I had no idea where to even begin with the process. I am so grateful that I was able to connect with Teri, who from the very beginning was incredibly helpful and supportive. She was always super responsive and willing to answer all of my, Im sure at times, inane questions, and provide expert and objective advice and opinions when needed. From searching for the ideal neighborhood and apartment, to securing the right mortgage lender with great rates, to preparing an airtight board approval package, to providing stellar recommendations on vendors for my renovations, Teri was with me for every step. She really was a lifesaver and a joy to work with through what otherwise would have been a very overwhelming process. I would not hesitate to work with Teri again for any future needs down the road.
