Warm, cozy and intimate ambience, like you are eating in a friends dining room. You have the potential to share a dining table with guests outside of your party, so being open to communal dining going in would help your experience. I knew this going in and was placed in a group (total 6). I enjoyed the presence and conversation from the others at my table. You can find your personal balance of being present with your party and mingling with other guests. Staff were warm and friendly. The chef came to our table towards the end, sharing their vision and thanking us for dining here. It made the experience more personal. Cocktails were excellent. I recommend the nectarine cocktail. Food is fun and unique, with nice presentation and explanation from staff. I appreciate the seasonal menu and making ordering simpler as well as less food waste. Some might think it is expensive for the amount of food you get (you may not leave full if you came in super hungry), but still a satisfying and fun, changing menu. For the price, I would probably come back moreso to take visitors or people new to NYC if they want to meet others over dinner; to have a seasonal dinner without the decision-making; or to mingle and meet new people!
