We went in Easter weekend and waited for a table. Staff are very inexperienced in handling the crowd that showed up to eat. Service was dismal, no silverware on table, waitress was inexperienced and never brought silverware, door staff never took names from the people that did not have reservations. The food was okay but pricing is very high for the ambience and quality of food that you are getting. Fried shrimp appetizer is frozen and came to our table not cooked properly. Oxtail was good but for $30+ a plate the portion was very small and not the best. We wanted to like this place but there are too mamy restaurants in Brooklyn that are way...... better

I had originally saw this place on TikTok and decided to come here with my friend today I had ordered the ribeye steak it came with a loaded potato which only had cheese as well as mixed vegetables the potatoes was ok I feel like they couldve added butter to it, I enjoyed the steak, I also ordered the fruit punch which our waiter suggested, it was good, my friend ordered the jerk salmon which came with rice and peas as well as mixed vegetables he let me try a piece of the salmon, it wasnt spicy for it to be jerk but it was good, our waiter as well as a lady I wasnt sure if she was a manager or not but they both were nice to me and my friend and making sure we were good i would definitely be coming back here again

We had a great time at this restaurant and the food was very delicious! Everything was great & the atmosphere was perfect. Our server Kadeem was professional, great, personal & was very familiar with the restaurant menu. This was our first time at this restaurant and we will be returning next week because of our server Kadeem. When you visit this restaurant ask for server Kadeem.

The first time I went to The Simpson I had such a wonderful experience! Tonight was not so good, I was so excited to return this time to celebrate my birthday and my daughters birthday. I made reservations weeks ahead to prepare when myself and my party of 6 arrived. I presented at the check-in and the young lady was so rude and nasty. I gave her my name for the reservation and she told me that I can sit at a high top by the bar or wait for a table and thats all she has I can wait like everyone else. I took the high top because we just wanted to eat, we waited fifteen minutes and a young man presented to our table to say he was on break and someone else will take our order. A few minutes later another young man started taking our drink orders then a young woman presented at that moment and said she will be our waitress. She was super sweet, she took our orders and the food came out and we didnt get our appetizer until we were almost done eating our meal. At this point I asked for the check and to go containers. I will not be patronizing this business anymore.
