      • The sandwiches here are delicious no matter what you eat. I love them all During this trip to NY, I had Depanneur sandwiches for breakfast almost every day! I definitely want to eat there next time I go to NY

        Ordered two sandwiches, and two diet cokes for $46. Charging $20 for half an egg salad sandwich, and green salad is crazy (and doing the math doesnt make sense price wise vs ordering these items separately). I opted for the full egg salad at $17 and unfortunately was underwhelmed by the small amount of filling in the sandwich and the lack of seasoning/sauce. For $17 some spicy mayo or jalapeos would improve the sandwich big time. Love the shop, but cant justify the price for the quality of sandwiches.

      Thank you so much for your feedback. We use Man Eating Tiger Ceremonial Grade Matcha, which is not inexpensive, but its a darn good Matcha!

      Lauren sorry to hear about the quality of the Sandwich we pride ourselves on making great products. We will look into the egg salad recipe and make sure its being followed as per our chefs instructions. As for the prices you can thank the NY State Government. They now force us to include credit card fees in our prices as opposed to showing you them as a separate untaxed item. So yes they are taxing credit card fees now. Also they just raised the minimum wage a dollar an hour. This is what inflation and back handed tax gouging feels like. They are trying to kill small businesses. We are truly sorry we would have loved to keep our prices the way they were a week ago but we would be out of business by the summer if we didn't raise prices. You will see everywhere else also raising prices soon. It's getting crazy we agree!
