Where do I begin!!! Last time I visited Soco was about 7 years ago. Knowing that restaurants change over the years I was hoping that I would have the same amazing experience. Let me tell you from a harsh food critic The food was AMAZING!!! We ordered chicken and waffles and fish and grits and I had no complaints my partner and I actually stopped talking to eat. The drinks were also amazing and not watered down. Lastly our server was so bubbly and patient. You should definitely try this place!

The music was loud which made it hard to hear the waitress. I felt like I was yelling. The Mac and cheese was in the oven too long so the top was a bit crunchy. The red velvet waffles seemed smaller/thinner. I was expecting it to be thicker. The fried rice tasted regular. Maybe soy sauce would have helped. Drinks/cocktails seem smaller too. One of the faucets wasn't working in the wash area. The violinist was the highlight of the evening.

I enjoyed my food and beverages. Our waitress Suli, was attentive and knowledgeable. The corn bread (today) was not fully cooked. Ive had it in the past and it was amazing. It taste more like undercooked pound cake today. But my meal was AMAZING! I had Fish and grits and a side of collards greens. The food arrived to the table HOT which is so important to me. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter.
