Hyundai City of Bay Ridge

I was appalled at the horrible customer service and lack of transparency at this dealership. After leasing a Kona, my temporary registration was set to expire, and I had not received my permanent registration. I tried to contact my sales rep multiple times before its expiration, only to have him ignore my messages after promising to provide updates. When I finally was able to get a manager on the phone, after repeated attempts, I was informed that the initial registration application had been denied as the dealership failed to include the necessary paperwork. None of this was disclosed to me until I repeatedly calledthe fact that they were attempting to hide this mistake on their part regarding this document was unacceptable. I ended up receiving the permanent registration two weeks after the temporary registrations expiration, incurring multiple tickets in the interim. I was promised that I would be reimbursed for any tickets received, but my messages are being ignored and I have not received any reimbursement. I would avoid this dealership as any issue that comes up after the sale will likely be ignored. This treatment was truly shocking and made it seem like they place zero interest in getting repeat customers.

I visited the dealership today and had my eyes set on a specific car and they were able to address my concerns and get me into the car that I wanted. I want to thank Joe and their leadership team for their excellent customer service.

The salesperson I worked with , Joe, was very helpful in assisting me with my first new vehicle purchase. Even though the car and trim I initially wanted became unavailable, Joe was able to work through that issue and find something else to accommodate me. The finance manager Rohan and Emanuel were also key in completing my successful experience.

Where do I start ? Shaun hassan and Moe the finance manager were hands down the best two individuals Ive ever met. They treated me like family and made sure all my needs were accommodated. You both are angels sent from above. Thank you to you both. Im happily leaving here in my brand new 2024 Hyundai Kona !!!!
