        Central Brooklyn EDC has afforded me to live my life again...it might seem like just a "school", but it's far more than that. I went there to get tutoring for my GED, (or the TASC test as it is now called) after the passing of my favorite aunt. At first, I felt a little awkward because I'm older. But the staff accepted me for who I was, and helped me along the way. They welcomed me, believed in me, and encouraged me to keep moving forward. Theres not many people in today's world that show concern for the next human being....and even less seem to show simple acts of humanity. I am grateful to God always and very thankful to the staff at Central Brooklyn for keeping their doors open for people like me, and countless others who may... (sometimes in life), need a helping hand.
