Dr. Racioppi is a fantastic dentist, caring and professional. He is a rarity in that he is an emergency dentist as well & you can literally reach out to Dr. R in the middle of the night & he will travel to his office for you. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Racioppi! He has given me the most thorough cleaning I've ever had, returns phone calls almost immediately, and does everything within his power to accommodate my schedule. On top of that, he is extremely professional, kind, caring, and friendly. He takes the time to explain procedures and never makes you feel rushed if you have questions. The office is immaculate, inviting, and filled with the most soothing music. He is a rare gem is a world of cold, harried doctors!

Dr. Racioppi, god bless you and your family. Thank you so much for your advice and guidance but most of all thank you for calming my nerves. I have wisdom tooth swelling, I left Dr. Racioppi a message, he gave me a call back and explained what I should do. Never have I come across a professional like Dr. Racioppi that genuinely wants to help people.

I recently called Dr. Racioppi because I had lost part of a wisdom tooth. He returned my call within half an hour and gave me an appointment for the same day. He could not be a nicer person and immediately makes you feel comfortable. He took x-rays and said the tooth was totally impacted. It was a painless extraction and I never had any pain afterwards either. I had been looking for a new dentist and am delighted that he also does general dentistry. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Hi Mary Jean. Thanks so much for your very rewarding review of my dental services. I am so glad and grateful that I have been successful in my care for your husband for quite the number of years on regular and emergency appointments. And also, for his general health, that he followed medical recommendation and referral. We have been through periodontics, endodontics (root canal), oral surgery, fixed prosthodontics, and basic operative together, and Albert is a terrific man to have as a patient. But, truth be told, my ‘middle of the night’ years of going in on emergency call are way behind me now. I did that when I was much younger, and since then I will go in during the day and night up to a ‘reasonable hour.’ The times have changed drastically, and so I am very discerning with emergency calls now. Thank you for offering such kind words as we bring 2023 to a close. I wish you and yours the best of health in the new year. I’m glad your husband left feeling much better today and I will see him next week to advance our treatment. P.S. Thank you, Mary Jean, for your referrals to my practice. They are so appreciated. Hi Michelle. As I just was checking e-mail I received your lovely review through analytics. Just remember that if at anytime in life you find out you are having a baby, Amoxicillin (provided you are not allergic to penicillin) is considered safe. And if you are allergic to penicillin, Clindamycin is also considered a safe choice during pregnancy. Clarithromycin (an erythromycin) is widely used with swelling, BUT should be avoided during pregnancy as studies have shown that a higher number of miscarriages had occurred. Just remember this also: As a general rule, elective dental care is safest during months four, five and six. Emergency care can be at any time to prevent infection getting seriously worse, but note that blood pressure in women rises during the final trimester, so it is always best to attend to a dental emergency asap. I’m sure you already left a message for your dentist, but if he does not answer, get to your nearest hospital to get started on antibiotic therapy. You were a pleasure to consult with. Good luck!
