        I was a new patient and Dr Muhammad delivered speculative and serious medical information in a very cavalier and cold manner. When I expressed concern and asked for additional info, she was dismissive and insensitive to the situation. Its unfortunate because her staff was very attentive and kind, but I have never experienced anything like this before.

      Many patients with BCBS insurance choose to see us and are willing to pay out of pocket for care since BCBS reimburses them for the visit directly. This is actually of benefit for our patients because it allows us to continue our high level of care which includes quality materials, a highly skilled team and non-rushed cleanings for up to an hour visit. The testament to our quality of care is that most patients in our recare program do not have gum disease and are cavity free. We hope you find a match for your expectations and best wishes!

      Katie, thanks for your input. I sincerely try my best in every situation to balance information with care and respect and will continue to improve myself. However, I certainly cannot predict or control patient reactions to information. Not every doctor and patient are a good match.
