CAUTION: DO NOT USE FOR ONE-TIME SERVICE. WILL NOT HONOR 30-DAY WARRANTY. I paid Arrow Pest a one-time service fee of $559 to remove a wasp nest that was in the ground right up against the foundation of my house. In the week since then, Ive monitored the area and have continued seeing wasps in the same general vicinity every day since the service. Today I was able to visually determine that there is a nest within one foot of the original nest, however, it is under a shingle on the side of my house, not in the ground. Its unclear whether the colony had two nests all along or if the stragglers re-nested there. Upon calling the office to request a technician to come back to my house, I was told the removal of the nest is not covered by the 30-day warranty because it is not in the same exact location as the original nest. I asked what an acceptable radius would be if one foot is not sufficient and was told again that it literally has to be the same exact spotnot one foot away, not six inches awayin the ground in the same exact spot according to their photographic evidence. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this response given how expensive the one-time service fee was. I would not have moved forward with the service had I known they would not reasonably honor the warranty. The office worker I spoke to also had the audacity to tell me that I should have signed up for a protection plan instead of doing a one-time service to avoid this situation. Also worth notingthe technician who removed the original nest told me that he was only a couple months into the job after recently switching careers. Given the current state of what I am dealing with and the fact that the warranty isnt being honored, its hard not to question the quality/efficacy of the initial service. What good is nest removal if the colony is not actually eradicated?
