Chase Bank

Went in to pay a balance and open a new account, I was told the girls were doing something else and take a seat to wait a few minutes, then the lady asked why I was there and told me to call customer service to get the amount before talking to the banker and to open a new account Id have to wait an hour when it was only myself and one other customer there.

I saw some of the previous reviews of this location. I have had great experiences here, and it's been due to Ali and Bianca. In fact, I've had more issues with the other branches in the area than with this branch. I understand that a lot of banking services are moving online. Branches no longer require as many staff to handle indoor and outdoor windows. Regardless, I do banking online and in person. It's nice to have staff and bankers address me directly and take a sincere interest in why I am there. There have been other branches of Chase and other banks in Reno who seem to think I have a lot of time to spend. I've gone into banks ready to open accounts only to have the tellers and staff I need to schedule an appointment. Their lobbies have been empty, the bank is open, and their recommendation that I schedule an appointment comes from what I've seen as them needing to do paperwork. Banks don't want money? Ali and Bianca have worked with me as tellers at the Sparks location for almost a year. Both know me as a customer and understand why I am there. They are efficient and focused on making sure I walk out feeling that my banking needs have been taken care of during the visit. They understand that money is not always something I have an abundance of and that my time can be equally short as I try to make more money. Today, for example, I found my time being eaten up waiting at another branch. After I was told again that I would be helped in a few minutes after already waiting a few minutes, I left and drove to the Spark's branch - first, to take care of a transaction which was done in less than 5 minutes, second, to let Ali and Bianca know how much I appreciated their focus on taking care of customers. I was ready to let their manager know how much I value their work for me. As customer service becomes more and more a secondary consideration among businesses, I know that at this branch, working with Ali and Bianca, I will be helped by staff who understand and respect that my time and needs matter. It's why I am going directly to the bank to do business - this is important to me as a customer. When Ali and Bianca become CEOs, I will continue to bank with them because I know their subordinates will embrace the same level of customer service that they promote. Y'all rock!

Best branch staff I've ever worked with! The branch manager, DJ and manager JoAnn were incredible and helpful. I was a victim of fraud with my Chase business account, and the short of it is, DJ was refreshingly great at his job. Professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and truly went above and beyond to rectify a convoluted and very stressful situation. This experience with this branch has ensured a loyal Chase customer. Thank you!
