image Very disappointing overall customer experience at this hotel. Our family loved the quality of attention we received when this property was mandarin oriental and were hoping it was not lost when sold to Hilton. We were wrong. Reception was not as welcoming or helpful. We never felt like we were home like we did when we stayed at the mandarin. We were instructed to order room service online and never received it. Staff told us they never received our order although we had a receipt and order number in an amount over $100. They told us someone closed our order and we received food 2 hours after order was placed. Concierge service was something we always loved at mandarin and here it was an online service, so sad. We loved the personal touch of the mandarin and as a Waldorf this no longer exists. Lights were brighter and made the hotel look old and dated. We loved the darker mood lighting of the mandarin, made it feel exclusive and romantic. The scale in bathroom had no batteries, the sheer curtains did not open with any button. Dont even get me started on the horrible buttons to control lights and curtains. Half of them did not work at all. The cafe food was taste-less and overpriced. I ordered scallops that tasted over cooked and frozen with no seasoning. This place needs personalized customer service rather than a texting concierge and online food ordering that never comes. The lack of service was not what we expected for the price point. Will not be returning. Wish we could get reimbursed.

image The Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas is an absolute treasure. The staff is warm, friendly, and accommodating. I felt right at home during my extended stay. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. If it wasnt for the postcard viewsI would have forgot I was in the heart of the strip! I highly recommend staying here if you are a person that values quality and service!

image So disappointed with my stay here. My sister brought me here for a 50th birthday celebration. Front desk didn't even acknowledge or wish me happy birthday, even after I mentioned it. I mean, how much effort does it take to make a guest feel special at this LUXURY hotel, by saying happy birthday? (and we'd called several times in advance and mentioned it would be for my birthday). After waiting 30 minutes or so for our room, after wandering through a maze to get there from the "lobby", we got to our room. We pull back the bed sheets and find stains on the sheets as well as hairs in the beds. I could see that happening at a lower Hilton property - NOT the Waldorf! It took the staff TWO HOURS to rectify the bed situation with clean sheets. Then, our refrigerator wasn't working and we had to wait for a new one to be delivered. We lost practically an entire day in Vegas after this fiasco. The ONLY bright spot in service was the concierge, Brian. Wanting a LUXURY experience for such a milestone birthday, I was heartbroken and disappointed. I thought the Waldorf would be the culmination of luxury. This one proved me wrong on my FIRST Waldorf experience. They really really missed the mark, and sullied what should have been a joyous occasion for me. I only went to Waldorf because I wanted to have a luxurious experience. It wasn't.
