Last year I moved to Las Vegas from Reno. Not being very familiar with Las Vegas, I rented for a few months. During that time, I checked out the different areas and decided that South Summerlin would be a great place to live. I looked at listings for many homes in that area, and finally found one that met all my requirements. Bryan Pellican was the listing agent for that property, so I contacted him directly. He was very helpful in arranging a visit to inspect this house. I decided to make an offer, and Bryan helped me deal with all the details. My offer was for all cash and a two-week close, which should have made me a perfect buyer. But, no, it was not that easy, and this is where Bryan really showed his star power. It turns out that this was not just an ordinary sale, but rather a probate, which resulted in everything being significantly more complicated. From offer acceptance to closing took nine weeks, which made this seem like the transaction from hell! During this time, Bryan helped deal with the probate attorney and assisted me in completing all the necessary paperwork. In retrospect, without all the support from Bryan, I would have probably just cancelled my offer. Would I buy another house where Bryan was the agent? Yes, in a heartbeat, as he was awesome. Would I buy another house that was in probate? Not in this lifetime!
