    This is my review for Prominent Realty, and Lisa Tufano exhibited rude and hypocritical behavior, often coming across as condescending and displaying traits associated with a 'Karen.' Initially, she portrayed herself in a positive light, encouraging me to contact her anytime I had an issue. However, the reality was different. I was provided with Lisa Tufano's work number listed in all her emails when they contacted me on a weekend for rent inspections. I promptly replied via text, as instructed in the email. However, the following Monday morning, she scolded me for reaching out as soon as possible, only later clarifying who I should have responded to. Upon moving in, I was under the impression that the property was in good condition. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The owner opted for a quick fix, covering up issues with cheap replacements to make it move-in ready. Throughout my three years at the property, there were constant water shortages, disrupting the neighborhood's water supply randomly from 8 am to 2 pm. When the water was restored, it was laden with thick sediment, requiring me to purchase filters. The property's heater malfunctioned twice during the winter, forcing me to rely on space heaters and blankets. The aging unit had to be completely replaced. In the summer, the AC broke down, and I had to endure the sweltering heat while waiting for a new unit. Lisa Tufano even blamed me for breaking a 20-year-old microwave, which the handyman acknowledged was beyond repair due to its age. Despite the lack of new amenities, my rent increased annually by at least $100, and Lisa Tufano justified it by citing high-priced comparables due to the COVID surge. The neighborhood had its share of challenges, with tents and makeshift shelters for individuals with substance abuse issues across the street in the dirt lot. Lisa Tufano failed to provide the rental agreement on time twice, and when I decided not to renew it due to another rent increase, I faced threats of losing my entire deposit because of the delayed move-out caused by her negligence. Despite explaining my reasons for leaving, Lisa Tufano accused me of plotting to move all along, overlooking her own negligence. The final straw was Lisa Tufano attempting to withhold my deposit of $1250 for paint touch-ups without providing receipts. When I requested proof of the expenses, she responded with hostility, refusing to compromise. When I pressed the issue further, she resorted to stating that my standing up for my tenant rights by email, when she refused to provide dollar amount receipts (not estimates), was HARASSMENT. I strongly advise future tenants to scrutinize their rental agreements with this company, keep thorough records of move-in and move-out conditions, as this company lacks consideration for good tenants. My experience with this company was marked by bullying and manipulation.

However, posting a review of a company you have never personally done business with violates the standards and guidelines of Google (Yelp) review, and is an affront to the integrity of the entire platform. We can assure you that we would never do anything with malicious intent towards another business or employee without having personal dealings with that business or employee. Having said that, our door is always open to you should you wish to call and discuss the matter further; with your son's consent, of course.

It is very disappointing when you go out of your way to assist a tenant by answering their calls late at night, early in the morning, and on weekends, only to have them attack you personally using discriminatory slurs in a bad review. The reviewer is upset that they are being held to the terms of their rental agreement. Upset that neither the owner of the property, nor Prominent Realty Group as the property manager, could control the city water supply or the conduct of other individuals in the neighborhood. While Prominent Realty Group disagrees with and disputes virtually everything in this review, Prominent Realty Group does agree that it is important that all tenants know the contents of their lease agreements, and that all tenants should keep thorough records regarding their tenancy, including but not limited to, records regarding move-in and move-out conditions. Prominent Realty Group understands that effective property management requires clear and consistent communication, and fair and transparent conduct between both landlords and tenants. Prominent Realty Group treated this tenant in that manner, as it does every tenant and landlord.
