After my wife died in 2021 i was Forced into management with Black and Gold. I continued to rent. After only a few months everything went upside down when John proposed over a $500.00 rental increase on what I already had under my previous lease agreement. My apartment has been a bug infestation and my fridge was not working, i paid a deductible of 75.00 only to never be reimbursed. all that was suggested is that it was my fault for the bugs and to go after previous management for the refund, although fixed now. I waited and waited and waited for them to fix. He even accused me of harrasment because i called to complain, Black and gold is now as of Apr.14 2023 absolutely refusing to honor my original lease agreement. Witch is why I am moving out. John and Stacy pick and choose witch parts to abide by. Only if it benefits there bottom line. I would absolutely not deal with them if not forced too. This is a couple of Sharks

These people act all friendly at first, but after you apply for a rental property, they will start getting more annoyed when you call. They will not take only 1-2 days, as they claim. Lastly, they could leave you hanging for days, and even after getting the consumer report/background check on you. I received a copy of mine once they had received it. So I know what it said. So they're claims of why you were denied entirely may clash with what they tell you. They initially told me my criminal background was fine, and then told me it wasn't after being denied. I submitted my job offer letter to prove I'll have the income needed, and they complained that it did not show the hours I would be working... What? I'm sorry, but I've never received an offer letter letting you know your hours. Only the job details, benefits, pay, and other legal details. Then you have to accept it to receive more info on your schedule and what not. So all in all, these people will be discriminating on anyone. Either regarding their race, background, or who knows what else. Don't fall for their false kindness, it'll only last a short while anyways.
