    Varalino is the worst HOA Ive ever had. Their staff is also a pain to communicate with. My car got towed in front of my house for not having a sticker present, however my car has been a registered vehicle on the property since 2019. Sticker was not present due to sun damage and when I requested a new one, they were trying to have me pay 50$ for it. Absolutely ridiculous! When I was trying to get my vehicle back, I was given false information on where my vehicle was towed to form Leah, one of the managers at varalino. I also ended up visiting the office in person, and one of their employees told me that varalino tows cars with guest passes present, and stated that the towing isnt properly regulated in the neighborhoods. For their own employee to state that is absolutely wild. I would give them zero stars if I could.

    This company took over managing the community I live in back in September of 2023 we have all been paying dues monthly yet the gate has been wide open and not functioning since April 2023. We are now in January 2024 and still the gate is wide open. One would think that securing the gate would be priority number one since there are no other vendors they have to deal with other than the landscaping that comes through once in a while. We are a small community and a very low key community that dont ask for much. Fix the gate already! If you are considering this company to manage your HOA I would keep looking. They dont know what they are doing!

    Updated October 19, 2023 If you are looking for or considering community managers, please read all of the reviews that you see for Varalino and carefully think through any decision that you may make. Varalino is only open part time (Monday - Thursday), they say that they guaranty call backs within 48 hours which in itself is obscene if you consider that they are already part time. For example if you call them on a Thursday afternoon, 48 hours ends up the next week late Tuesday or on Wednesday before you hear back from them if you are lucky enough for them to even call you back... This list goes on and on on how bad their service is. Good luck if you somehow choose to use their services! Previous feedback/review- I'm a homeowner member of an HOA that hired Michelle and Varalino Community Management as HOA Managers effective as of August 1, 2022. Obviously, our board made a big mistake after I just read the terrible reviews that this company has here. Michelle should be ashamed of herself as the owner of a company with such poor scores or grades on their service... My direct dealings with Michelle involved a flood claim to the insurance for my particular unit and she has shown to lack compassion, knowledge, time and has virtually ghosted both me and my insurance adjuster for weeks... She's seems to be in way over her head and when she started working on this claim, she never asked me any information about the flood, what was going on with the claim and what I may have needed plus she never even viewed the condition of my property in person nor did she request to see any photos of the current condition of the property. (4 of the numerous images are shown in this review as to how this now non-occupied condo has looked since early July.) She virtually hasn't cared if anything is done with my property for over the last 2+ months and that this property still isn't habitable or even being worked on... She even communicated to me last night that I must just sit and wait!!! My insurance company has had to put her on notice and I have been forced to file a claim against the HOA insurance company for her negligence!!! All I can say is beware and do your homework before hiring Michelle or this company!!!

You did not leave another message for her after that. Hello Keren- I'll start by responding so that everyone reading this will know that your vehicle was never properly registered with the Association. You were given a warning back in Oct. 2023. You failed to respond to it & correct the issue. You were given several extra months to address this and only took action AFTER it was towed. Furthermore, the resident parking decals are $5, not $50. We do not set that price. The Board does. In addition, let's make it known that you filed a complaint with the transportation Board and asked for a hearing. A hearing was held approximately 2 weeks ago & you lost. It was decided by the Transportation Board that you were in the wrong and your claim had no merit. Thus, your 1 start complaint on the company is the retaliation for you not complying with your HOA rules.

Hello Victoria - Because you used to work here AND attended a Board meeting, you are already aware that the Board of Directors gives Management direction and permission to fix/repair/replace anything in the community. If you are not happy with the current Board, your community manager DID suggest at the meeting that you join the Board. You declined. The gate is open because the Board has not approved any repairs at this time. When they do, we will proceed with the approval.
