This place is so unprofessional, incompetent, borderline unethical, its unbelievable they are still in business. I would recommend you find a high school kid to manage your property for you before them!!

If I could rate them without any stars, I would. This company is awful! Thankfully after a year of them managing our rental property, we were able to terminate our contract (with an expense, of course) and manage our property ourselves. As for the year they did manage our property, we took care of all issues ourselves. Which begs the question, What were we paying them for, anyway? However, the instance that caused us to terminate our contract with them was one that cost our family $850.00. SGI approved of work without our consent and gave us the bill. We asked to have work done and also asked to see estimates of the work to be done. SGI gave permission to have the work done without giving us the estimated cost first and sent us a bill. The contract states that any expense over the $300.00 threshold will need approval from the homeowners. This was not done. After several conversations back and forth, they admitted their mistake and still billed us! We were left with no choice but to pay it as they threatened a lein against our home. We considered taking SGI to small claims court, but decided against it as it would likely end up costing more than the bill. I would stay as far away from this company as possible! Dishonest, unorganized, unprofessional, and irresponsible are just a few words I can use to describe this company.

Honest review: If I could give zero stars I would. This place is an unorganized, incompetent and rude. As a property management company they seem to be doing okay but the experience for people looking to rent one of these properties is an absolute joke. I called and filled out an application, received no confirmation, no call back, no email and nothing from the property. I called back the next day and a new person had answered claiming there was no record of the appointment request or application and that my information appeared to be spelled wrong in the system. Rather than update the previous record, he informed me that we would need to start over. Did everything he asked and was told since I was the first interested renter that I would hear back from the property manager within a few days. Come Saturday, haven't heard anything. Called and was placed on hold for 35 minutes before I was hung up on. Left a message and never got a call back and still received no email confirming any of this. A week went by and I had not heard anything. I called back only to get a new woman on the phone, again placed on hold for about 25 minutes only to be hung up on yet again. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. I called back and got the same woman on the phone, again saying there was no record in the system of any appointment request or application and that the "property had already been rented".... At this point I was furiated.... I then asked to speak with a manager and was transferred to another woman (still not management) who claims that she is sorry for the inconvenience but that there is nothing she can do, still zero resolution. This place is so unorganized and rude, having worked in leasing and PM for many years, it blows my mind that places like this still exist. If you are looking to rent a home go ANYWHERE else but here ... don't say you haven't been warned.
