    This is the worst service I've ever received for anything in my entire life. These people lie and lie and lie and don't deliver the promised service in a single facet. To start, I had pretty much settled on a different moving company when I received a call from Rachel. She took a thoughtful inventory of my stuff and gave me a reasonable estimate. What sold me was that according to her, LV movers offered guaranteed delivery on a specific day for 300 extra dollars. Until then, no other moving company had offered that. I had to clarify: "So you can guarantee that my stuff will be delivered on August 1, and if I don't get it then I get my money back?" "Yes", she replies. A few days later I had given a down payment of 15% or so. The very next day AFTER LAYING DOWN THIS DOWN PAYMENT I receive a voicemail from Rachel saying that there has been a 'misunderstanding' and that they didn't offer guaranteed delivery. They offered guaranteed pick up! Silly her! Now, LV moving does a lot of jobs, and I've seen other reviews around the web which have referred to her specifically by name. Rachel is obviously someone who has been working there for a LONG time. There is no way in hell that she didn't know exactly what she was doing when she said that. This was no misunderstanding, this was a lie. But she has an idea, she says! If we have the movers pick up your stuff a week early, you'll get it close to your desired date, since almost all of our deliveries take 7 to 10 days! Since at this point I had already laid down money and this offer was very similar to the others I had gotten I decided to stick with them. My stuff arrives on Saturday August 8, 4 days late. The people delivering my stuff were extremely rude. I watched them snap one of my table legs off getting it off the truck, and they played it off like it had happened earlier. My desk had the finish ripped off from tape that had been haphazardly used. Bookshelf also damaged. It's my fault for having them transport that type of material, they say. Also they aren't responsible. I don't even get an apology that's literally all that is said. I had to argue with them to get them to put my desk back together (the guys who picked it up took it apart, and promised the deliverers would be able to put it back together). Now that everything is inside and they are unpacking, I notice that the biggest box of all is missing entirely. It took another argument to get the guy to admit the box was missing, and then after a few minutes he comes back saying that he has talked to dispatch and they forgot to load the box. It will be on the next truck and I'll have it by the end of next week. After they left, I called dispatch myself just to make sure. The guy has received no calls from anyone and I had to argue with him to admit they even had it. They leave and the next week comes and I don't get a call. After calling myself many times I get Tanya to tell me that the box has been loaded and will be delivered by Wednesday or Thursday. Friday rolls around and I call. Instead of Tanya, I get Donny. Donny has no idea where Tanya got the ridiculous notion that I would have the box by Thursday. At this point I verbally lose it. More lies. I ask why they can't just use UPS or Fedex to ship the box for them. Too heavy they say. I asked for proof that it was too heavy, because I can't believe that it is over 150 lbs. They don't have a way to do that apparently. So how do you know its over 150 lbs I say? Still no proof of that to this day. I'm pretty much out of characters so I'll stop here. I still don't have the box and I'm going to court tomorrow. The box has over 1000 dollars worth of stuff in it, including all the miscellaneous items, my TV stand, and pieces of the furniture that the movers took off so they would travel safer. It's like little pieces of my entire apartment are missing. Even though this review was ungodly long, there are all sorts of things that I'm omitting. The entire time I kept telling myself "Well at least it can't get any worse!" only to be proven wrong time and time again. Avoid.

    Thank you LV Moving!! You were especially helpful, careful and pleasant in the long day you had moving our belongings. Our house is near the college at the edge of Van Nuys, CA and the students park their cars all throughout my neighborhood making it very difficult for you to even get your truck into a spot in front of the house. As I type this, your crew is still working very hard to finish up before they then drive straight through the night to deliver to our new house in Las Vegas, NV. You people have been great through this entire experience and we really appreciate your help today! Thank you again!

    My experience was SO BAD . had to pay extra upon the day of pick up and on the day of delivery ( I am talking hundreds of dollars ). They did not deliver on the requested date and had 1 week delay. they want you to be on their time. I was forced to pick up their driver in my personal car at 11 pm and the did not even deliver on that night.They forced me to leave work next day to come home with very short notice and if i don't show up or follow their short notice time/dat then i have to pay fine of 85 $ every hour ( Sure i was never told about any fine before that time). Very poor notification and they will take any opportunity to increase your rate. They don't care about your work or sleep. I got called one time at midnight by their dispatcher. They did not handle my furniture properly and i had severely damaged furniture. They referred me to their claim department which takes 120 days to get you a decision. They are nice people when you talk to them but very bad to get job done not get done properly. I summary: hidden extra money that i was not told about ( Hundreds), delayed deliver from the requested date, very short notice, threatening me with fine if not do what they want even if I can not for any reason, damaged furnitures and very long time for response to claim ( 4 months ).

    Several months ago I began researching long distance companies Las Vegas had in order to coordinate a long distance move for a friend. The long distance move contained one bedroom worth of furniture and about 15 medium packed boxes. I received calls and quotes from about 10 companies and there were several reasons I chose LV Moving. It started with a timely and professional call. I appreciated the straight forward approach to costing out the move and outlined exactly items that may cause additional costs. The quote was very fair and a contract rate was locked in. On moving day, the movers showed up on time and were very professional. They took great care in protecting my friends furniture which meant a lot to me. The same occurred on the receiving end. All items arrived in excellent condition and on schedule. My friend was thrilled with the results. Most importantly, the move cost exactly what we were quoted. There were no weird hidden fees or additional charges upon arrival. I felt we got a very fair deal and excellent service. The sales team has been extremely responsive to my many questions. I have used many different services to move my personal items all over the country and by far, this was the best moving experience I have had. I will keep them in mind if I move again!! Thanks to the Team at LV Moving for making a very stressful move and situation a piece of cake!
