Urban Underdogs

Cynthia is an absolutely wonderful person and should be given a Nobel prize for what she does for the community. She always brought me food, liter, even a cat tree for my cat Mystery. She also helped with getting him neutered. As she did a bunch of my neighbors at the time in the tunnel where I used to stay. There were times where without her help I would have been stressed out about how I was going to feed my cat Mystery who is my child. I'm so grateful to Cynthia and Miss her !!!! I hope she's doing well and hope I see her again!

I have met the founder of this organization and seen the work that is done by the dedicated volunteers. Donations go where needed, no one working with Urban Underdogs gets a salary. The passion for taking care of animals in need is inspiring.

Cynthia is a fantastic human being who REALLY cares about every single animal she encounters. I called her for help because "Kitty" (who somebody left behind)decided to make me&my son her humans when she jumped in the bedroom window&never left. She also was looking for a place to have her kittens. I called Cynthia after"Kitty" had her 2nd litter 4months after the 1st litter. Cynthia came out that same day with food litter and toys. I was embarrassed because my apt is a mess due to I'm disabled&cannot keep it up. She did not care about what the apt looked like messy or not. Her concern was about mamma kitty&the kittens. She wanted to see the brand new babies that were only a few days old so she trampled thru the clutter of my son's room where Kitty had moved her babies to under my sons bed. She made me promise to get the 2 kittens from the 1st litter fixed&have babies from the new litter done as soon as they were old enough plus momma kitty. I kept in touch with her by text&she told me how proud she was of me when I got the 1st 2 fixed that very next week. I also got the 2 from the 2nd litter fixed now.... But momma Kitty got out somehow and got pregnant again so now I've got 4 new babies running around. I know Cynthia is probably abit disappointed in me for not having her spayed in time but I want her to know that mamma is scheduled to be spayed this week. The kittens will be done before they are given to good homes.(but in kitty's defense this last litter were the prettiest kittens from all). I'm calling Cynthia tomorrow because I'm in need of food and litter. Even tho she may be disappointed that I hadn't gotten Kitty fixed before her last litter I'm sure she will be out here to help the animals. She is such a warm and loving individual who is dedicated to loving all the animals she encounters and trying to control the population of unwanted animals by having them all spayed and neutered. 10 stars to Cynthia and Urban Underdogs!!!
